Podcasting

I’m going to be trying to podcast the lessons that we learn in class, so that any students that may need help with proper pronunciation of the vocabulary words that we have been learning in class is able to go back and get it. To do this, I will be using Spreaker.com, which will upload my podcasts in a great place, where things will be easy to reach. Of course, this might be shaky for the next little while, so please bear with me as I get used to it. I’m still getting used to GarageBand, but I am incredibly thankful that the school board has let me borrow a laptop that will enable me to try something like this out.

I’m hoping it will turn into an incredibly fun thing that I do on my blog, hence why I’m only starting out with Spreaker, while I’m getting used to it. Already, it’s been a fun experience to talk about the lessons that we’ve learned in class together, and you can hear the tests that I did with the vocabulary that I’ve already done with the Core French classes 4-8 that I teach. The Grade 4 – Core French podcast is the first one I did, so it’s not very fancy when it comes to tech, but I know I’ll get better. I started trying to integrate a type of theme song by the Grade 5/6 – Core French podcast on our vocabulary (Physical Description, Sports and Physical Activities and Adjectives). I’m still getting used to it, but I can only get better at it, right?

So take a listen. Let me know what you think.
